In this project, we were tasked by Fluke Toy Corp. to design, document, and create a toy concept to be placed in McDonald’s Happy Meals later in the year, and also to prepare and deliver a short pitch at a booth in the upcoming Duke Toy Fair. The parts of the toy were required to fulfill several objectives, ranging from overall goals like entertainment, sustainability, and low-costing, to more technical details, including being mass-producible through 3D CAD modeling, employing standard injection-molding design-for-manufacturability principles, and being large enough to protrude from a standard choke hazard test device.
